“Legends on Stage” is a documentary capturing a unique handball spectacle held in Skopje on October 29, 2025, in a country where handball is far more than a sport—it is part of the national identity and collective memory. The film follows the reunion of legendary Macedonian and European handball players whose careers left an indelible mark on the development of handball in North Macedonia and across Europe. Through authentic footage, powerful emotions, and the electric atmosphere of a packed arena, the documentary pays tribute to a generation of sporting icons who helped shape the history of the game. Produced by Sports Radio 90.3 FM in Skopje—the only specialized sports radio station in North Macedonia and one of the few of its kind in the former Yugoslavia—the film was created to mark the station’s 20th anniversary. At the same time, it stands as a lasting testament to a remarkable evening that brought together handball legends and thousands of passionate fans.
