
2nd International Sports Film Festival Concludes
The Second International Sports Film Festival was held at the Congress Center “Srbija” from June 29 to July 2, 2013. The president of the festival was Nikolai Porokhovnik.
As part of the program, an art exhibition titled “RTS Art Colony – Zlatibor: 120 Years of Organized Tourism in Zlatibor” was also opened.
– The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to director Puriša Đorđević for his films “Cross Country” and “Cyclists.”
– The First Special Award went to the Azerbaijani film “Chovgan” for its highly successful portrayal of traditional national sport.
– The Best Film Award was given to the German-Austrian production “Golden Autumn.”
– The Second Special Award was awarded to the Slovenian film “Ivo Daneu,” by Metod Pevec, for its contribution to the history of sport.
– A Special Award was presented to the Belarusian film “I Am Happy,” directed by Vladimir Cheslyuk.
– The Special Award for Best Cinematography was awarded to Aleksandar Martinov and Andrei Andibenko for the Ukrainian film “To Be Without Flaw,” directed by Sergei Tolbilov.
– Another Special Award went to the Norwegian film “Sun in the North,” directed by Ane Berkestad.
– The Main Award in the category “Sport and Humanity” was presented to the Serbian film “The Race of Life,” directed by Vladan Matičević.
– The “Dinko Tucaković” Award for Lifetime Achievement in Directing was awarded to Mir Abbas Khosravi from Turkey for the film “Imam.”
– The jury also unanimously awarded the Best Film Prize to the German-Austrian film “Golden Autumn,” directed by Jan Tenhaven.
