International Sports Film Festival on Zlatibor
The first International Sports Film Festival will open on the evening of August 21 on Zlatibor Mountain.
The program will run through August 24 at the Serbia Congress Center. The opening night will feature the Russian documentary “Pierre de Coubertin: Master of the Olympic Rings,” followed by the major Serbian box-office hit “Montevideo, Taste of a Dream.”
In the days that follow, audiences will have the opportunity to watch 26 additional films—both documentaries and feature films, short and full-length—from recent productions, as well as renowned classics such as Emir Kusturica’s documentary “Maradona” and the British feature film “Chariots of Fire.”
The festival’s Artistic Director is screenwriter Jovan Marković.
The festival is organized by Maja Film (Užice), the Municipality of Čajetina, the Zlatibor Tourist Organization, and the Cultural and Sports Center Čajetina, under the patronage of the Olympic Committee of Serbia.
